2025 iSTEAM RoboQuest Challenge

For young student who are exploring robotics

The Game:

VEX IQ Robotics Competition Rapid Relay is played on a 6’ x 8’ rectangular field configured as seen above. Two robots compete in the Teamwork Challenge as an alliance in 60 second long teamwork matches, working collaboratively to score points.

Teams also compete in the Robot Skills Challenge where one robot takes the field to score as many points as possible. These matches consist of Driving Skills Matches, which will be entirely driver controlled, and Autonomous Coding Skills Matches, which will be autonomous with limited human interaction.

For 6-year-old to 12-year-old Students who are in any Special Education programs

iSTEAM Academy is proud to host the first RoboQuest Challenge for special education students.

9 AM – 12 PM RoboQuest for Special Education Students

9 AM – Door Open for students, Check in

9:15 AM – Team meeting for rules

9:30 AM – Practice and preparation

10 AM – Qualification Matches

11 AM – Final Matches

11:30 AM – Award Ceremony

Event volunteers are the heart and soul of VEX competitions. We rely on Referees to keep things fair, Emcees to keep things exciting, and Queuers to keep things on schedule! Volunteering at a competition is easy to learn, fun to do, and rewarding for everyone involved.
